Our Greek Seasoning is perfect for making your own gyros sauce, or try it with vinegar and oil for a delicious salad dressing. We love it to marinate tofu, or in pasta salads. Excellent on our Summer Vegan Cucumber Salad (see recipes). This works great for marinating your Mediterranean style chicken gyros or beef, lamb, chicken or pork shish kabobs. Our blend is outstanding on grilled or baked chicken and fish.
Hand blended from Greek oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, sea salt, black pepper, parsley, Korintje cinnamon and ground nutmeg. 2 ounces in a reclosable bag.
To make your own homemade gyros sauce mix 2 cups of Greek plain yogurt, 1/4 cup chopped cucumber, 2 tablespoons of diced onion and 2 tablespoons of our It's All Greek to Me spice blend.
For shish kabobs cut beef, chicken, lamb or pork into 1 inch cubes and make the marinade by mixing 2 tablespoons It's All Greek to Me, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 tablespoons lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of warm water. Place your meat in a large resealable plastic bag and be sure that your meat is covered evenly. Place it in the refrigerator for 8–12 hours before cooking.
