1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
2 Cups of Sugar
1/2 Cup Butter
1 Tsp Saigon Cinnamon
Pinch of Salt (if using Unsalted butter)
1 Tbsp Baking Powder
1 Cup Milk
4 Cups Sliced Peaches (about 4 Large)
1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
Preheat oven to 375º.
Melt the butter and pour into a 9x13 baking dish.
In a bowl combine the sliced peaches, 1 cup of sugar and lemon juice. Let sit for 5 minutes so that the sugar dissolves a little.
In a separate bowl bowl add the remaining 1 cup of sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and milk. Mix until just combined and pour over the butter in your baking dish, DO NOT MIX TOGETHER).
Lastly add the peach mixture on top of the batter. Do not stir or mix in. Sprinkle with the Saigon Cinnamon and bake for 45 minutes.
You can serve warm or room temperature. With or without Vanilla ice cream.
