Our Tantalizing Thai rub works wonderfully for stir frys and Thai soups. Carefully mixed from garlic, onion, paprika, lemon, coriander, hot cayenne, white pepper, basil, lemongrass and cilantro. Best of all it's salt free! On a scale of 1–10, 10 being the hottest, we'd say this is a 3–4. Use a little less for a nice, mild dish. This works well on chicken and fish too!
For a quick sauce, add one tablespoon to a blender with a can of coconut milk, two tablespoons fresh cilantro, 1/4 cup of rice wine vinegar, a squeeze of lime juice, and 1/2 cup of peanut butter or other nut butter; and maybe a tablespoon of freshly grated ginger. Blend well and add to soups or to skillet stir frys.
If using in a basic stir fry, add a little coconut milk and it creates a fabulous sauce.
