A pizza seasoning that'll take you back to that good old-fashioned pizzeria style pizza taste. Our "Johnny Pizza" is named as a nod to one of the king pins involved in the big Mob bust on January 20th, 2011. We thought the name was so funny that we had to work it in somehow!
We love this to make our own pizza sauce—just cook down some tomatoes, onion and garlic and add JP to taste. Add it to beef stock in the crock pot to make a great pizza soup, add your favorite pizza toppings—onion, cooked sausage, peppers, mushrooms—and sprinkle on a little mozzarella when you serve. You won't believe how this helps the pizza craving.
The snappy blend of Mediterranean oregano, basil, garlic, onion, thyme, fennel seed, red bell pepper, crushed red pepper, parsley and marjoram is DELICIOSO added to your tomato sauce for a fab pizza blend. Sprinkle it on toasted bread, vegetable soups, spaghetti sauce or to spice up any pizza.
