Summer Zucchini and Onions:
We love visiting our local farmers' markets to pick up the locally grown fresh veggies. Last weekend we found some just picked zucchini. Here's how we prepared it:
4 whole zucchini, cut in rounds
2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 heaping teaspoon Milford Spice Company An Evening in Tuscany
1 yellow onion, chopped
1 tablespoon freshly grated parmesan cheese
In a medium saute pan, add olive oil and onions over medium heat
Add garlic
Add zucchini
We like our veggies prepared al dente, staying just a little crisp.
Prepare as you desire, add An Evening in Tuscany near the end of cooking. Serve with freshly grated parmesan on the side.
An Evening in Tuscany is one of our best selling blends, and is also delicious on pasta - or the BEST usage is with olive oil for bread dipping.
