Pepperoni Bread with Dipping Sauce

Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Pumpkin seeds are the perfect blank canvas for any seasoning. So simple to make and they are healthy and delicious. Great with a cold beer as you are passing out candy, or fantastic as a part of your Thanksgiving appetizer spread.
Today I chose to use Honey Chipotle. This is hand blended with granulated honey, sea salt, chipotle powder, granulated onion, Spanish paprika and Italian seasoning. Wonderful on salmon, shrimp, veggies, chicken, pork and popcorn! Sweet with a little bit of heat! Absolutely fantastic!
Mix raw cleaned pumpkin seeds with olive oil if you are using a savory spice and melted butter if you are going to the sweet side.
The most important part of getting crispy, crunchy seeds is to clean them really well and to boil them. It seems like an unnecessary step but this actually par cooks the seeds and ensures that they cook fully, when baked. Make sure to display your pumpkin!
Any cold beverage is fantastic with this treat!

Everything Better Smoked Salmon Flatbread

It has been ridiculously hot in my neck of the woods, almost 100 for weeks! As someone who loves to cook I was trying to be creative for a fun and delicious cool meal, yet not too filling! My family loves lox and bagels, so this is a play on that breakfast favorite.
This would be fantastic on a brunch table as it is amazing at room temperature, or as a light lunch or dinner.
I bought a blend called Everything Better. Wow, so good! This is made by hand blending delicious California grown and roasted garlic, onion, poppy seed, both white and black sesame seeds and kosher salt. Really tastes just like a bagel. This blend is great sprinkled on chicken, avocado toast, eggs, veggies and salads.
A chilled Mimosa would be a perfect match for this dish.

Crab Cakes

What is there not to love about a perfectly seasoned and cooked crab cake? It is decadent perfection! Big pieces of crab, with crunchy celery and French Seafood Seasoning. These hold together really well with wonderful textures and flavors.
French Seafood Seasoning is a wonderful mix that is hand blended from granulated garlic, black pepper, sea salt, domestic paprika, granulated onion, thyme, oregano, cayenne pepper and basil. This is terrific on grilled fish, shrimp or seafood boils too.
We enjoyed a cold glass of champagne with this crab cake.
Enjoy!

Grilled Chicken Tacos

My family loves tacos and truly any Mexican foods. Today I marinated some chicken breasts and thighs in canola oil and Mexican Blast. I grilled them and served them in corn tortillas with a quick black bean side dish. I also served Baked Mexican Rice and substituted Taco Tuesday for the Mexican Blast.
Mexican Blast is a delicious blend of chile peppers, garlic, onion, cumin, Mexican oregano and other spices that make your taste buds sing! I love this on everything from chicken, pork, steak to veggies and shrimp!
A glass of red Sangria goes really well with this dish.

Chipotle Chicken Buffalo Dip

Buffalo Wings are always an integral part of any big sports event party. They can be so messy to eat so we came up with a delicious and mess free dip. You can serve this with tortilla chips and a mix of veggies.
The Honey Chipotle adds a little sweet and a little heat. So good!
An ice cold Corona goes beautifully with this dip.

Spider Deviled Eggs
Halloween is the time to have fun with your food! This is a simple deviled egg recipe that is brightened by using Adobo Lime. This is such a versatile spice blend. You can use it on anything from vegetables, fish, poultry and beef. I made a little spider to sit on top using olives. Scary good!
Awesome as an appetizer for your spooktacular Halloween party.
We enjoyed a glass of Pinot Grigio with this appetizer.
