Serves 6
Ingredients:
2 Apples, I used Honey Crisp, Sliced Very Thinly
1 Sheet of Puff Pastry, Thawed
3 Tsp New hudson Apple Pie Spice
3 Tsp Apricot Jam
1 Tbsp Flour, to Dust Counter
Preparation:
Dust your counter with the flour and lay the puff pastry sheet onto. Using a rolling pin, roll out pastry dough until it is about a 1/4 inch thick. Cut the dough into six rectangles.
Spread a 1/2 tsp of the Apricot Jam onto each rectangle and then sprinkle each piece with a 1/2 tsp of New Hudson Valley Apple Pie Spice.
Now lay the apple slices in a row from one end to the other leaving the bottom half of dough clear.
Fold bottom half of dough over the apples. Roll from one end to the other.
Place Apple Roses in a greased muffin tin and bake for 40 minutes.
Remove and enjoy! Almost too pretty to eat!
