Makes 2-4 Servings
3 Lg Russet Potatoes
1/4 Cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
2 Tsp Dillicious
2 Tsp Butter
Preheat oven to 350º. Preheat with your cast iron in oven.
I highly recommend using a cast iron skillet for this dish. The heat generated creates such a wonderful crust! You can use a large one or a couple (or more) small ones. It is kind of fun for everyone to get a mini Pommes Anna each!
Start by washing and peeling your potatoes. Then slice thinly, if you have a mandolin great, if not, try to slice the same thickness.
Remove cast iron skillet(s) from oven and add a pat of butter. Let it melt, then layer the potatoes with a drizzle of olive oil and sprinkle of cheese and Dillicious between layers, finishing with Dillicious and cheese. Voila! Easy!
Bake for 15 minutes, the remove skillet from oven and carefully flip. Return to oven for another 15 minutes or until nice and crispy on bottom.
You can serve in the skillet of remove and slice. This is an elegant potato dish and would be great for company or a holiday.
