Serves 4-6
Ingredients:
1 Pgk Refrigerated Pie Dough (2 crusts)
5 Apples of Your Choice
1 Tbsp New Hudson Apple Pie Spice
1/4 Cup Melted Butter
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup All Purpose Flour
Pinch of Salt
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Let pie dough warm a little bit on the counter before you work with it.
Rinse your apples and dry them. Dice the apple into medium dice, discarding the core. If you wish, you can remove the apple peel. Toss the diced apples with the brown sugar, New Hudson Apple Pie Spice, melted butter and flour. Set aside.
Roll out one sheet and divide into 2-3 pieces, depending on how large you want your blossom to be. Roll the pieces into balls. Roll out each ball to about a 6” diameter.
Divide the filling and place in middle of each crust. Pinch the outside as you fold it up to create a blossom around the filling.
Bake for 15 minutes and cool before enjoying!
We served these with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Yum!
Enjoy!
