Serves 6

2 Lbs Ground Turkey Breast

2 Tbsp Olive Oil

1 Cup Chopped Onion

1 Cup Chopped Celery

1 Cup Chopped Carrot

3-4 Minced Garlic Cloves

1 6 Oz Can Tomato Paste

2 14.5 oz Cans of Petite Diced Tomatoes

1 Tsp Sale Italiano

1 1/2 Tbsp Evening in Tuscany

1/2 Cup Red Wine (or water)

Parmesan Cheese

Parsley

Garlic Bread

1/4 Cup Softened Butter

4 Minced Garlic Cloves

1 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

1 Tsp Evening in Tuscany

1/2 Loaf of Ciabatta Bread

Preparation

Preheat oven to 450.

Add the olive oil and vegetables to a large sauce pan on medium heat. Sweat the veggies for about 5 minutes stirring often. Add the Sale Italiano and cook for an additional 4 minutes.

Next, add the ground turkey breast and cook until no longer pink. Add the Evening in Tuscany, stir well.

Add the tomato paste and diced tomatoes (with juices), stir. Next add the 1/2 cup of wine (or water). Place lid on pan, turn to low and simmer for 45 minutes. Finish with a sprinkle of freshly grated parmesan and chopped parsley!

Garlic Bread

Combine the softened butter and the minced garlic by using a fork to mix well. Spread this mixture over the 1/2 loaf of bread. Sprkinle the parmesan cheese evenly over the top and finish with the Evening in Tuscany spice. Place in hot oven and bake for approximately 6 minutes. Keep an eye on the bread because it can overcook quickly!
