Cuban Pressed Sandwich



I have found a sandwich that is beyond delicious! The pressed Cubano Sandwich has evolved into a sophisticated blend of flavors that dance on your tongue! Adobo Lime rubbed pork tenderloin, ham, swiss cheese and Quick Pickles on a french roll and pressed to perfection.


Adobo Lime is hand blended from fennel seed, cumin, coriander, black pepper, garlic, Mexican oregano, lime zest, kosher salt, thyme and rosemary. This spice blend is amazing on pork, chicken, veggies, salmon and shrimp. One of my personal favorites!


This recipe includes another recipe for Quick Pickles. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP! These pickles make the sandwich a 15 instead of an 10! Super easy and truly quick! I used Devils Dust (but you can use red pepper flakes too) to spice it. Remember that as the name implies, a little bit goes a long way! For the lovers of SPICY HOT this blend is amazing! Ghost pepper, jalapeno and habanero flakes come together in this fiery mix.


A cold mug of Hatuey Beer pairs perfectly with this sandwich!

Smoked Butternut Squash Kale Salad


This wonderful salad uses Spanish Smoked Sweet Paprika which is created bsmoking small, red bell peppers over wood flames which are then dried and ground. Packing a flavorful punch, it is good on just about everything.

Columbian Chicken Soup


I adore creating new soups. Especially this time of year when it's chilly outside and we want to be healthier!  


Fish Delish is so versatile, hand blended from thyme, Greek oregano, basil, rosemary, sage, orange zest, lemon zest and fennel. It is truly fantastic on fish, chicken and veggies.


The Columbian Chicken Soup is a hearty yet healthy chicken and potato soup with corn and a wonderful salsa on top. I also served this with a savory whipped cream, optional, but added a richness.


I made may own chicken stock, but to make this a quick and easy soup, you can use store-bought stock and use shredded chicken.


A nice ice-cold Corona goes beautifully with this soup!

Stuffed Poblano Peppers with Easy Mole Sauce

I adore Mexican foods.  Love playing with all the fantastic ingredients, today I decided to stuff  poblano peppers and make a fabulous Mole sauce using It’s a Mad, Mad, Mole seasoning. Mole sauce is something that usually is very time consuming and complicated to make. Using Milford Spice’s Mole seasoning made this a breeze and fantastic!  Not spicy, just enough to tickle your taste buds.  Soooo good!

We love our small town of Milford, Michigan. Chicken Provencal


This is an elegant version of comfort food! Juicy chicken thighs paired with cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, olives, and a creamy sauce. Yum…


I used Wordhouse Wow in this dish because of the lovely blend of granulated garlic, white lemon pepper, parsley flakes, tarragon and chervil. Very sophisticated and absolutely delicious.


This is one of my favorite blends for egg dishes, salads and dressings, dipping oil, fish and chicken.


A nice cold glass of White Shiraz pairs really well with this dish.
